The client provides a variety of insurance products and line of coverage, consisting of multiple agencies in several states.

Our involvement started in September 2013 and continues today.  GTSG provides a Mainframe Specialist to assist in a staff augmentation model.  Our resource provides a variety of services including software upgrades, tuning, DR testing support, maintenance, and serves as a trusted advisor to the in-house staff.

GTSG provides:

  1. z/OS and ISV support for:
    1. z/OS and tightly integrated IBM products
    2. z/OS ISV products
    3. Computer Associates ISV Support
    4. Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
  2. 24 x 7 on-call support for all technology groups where we were involved

Our client, the Mainframe Technical Support manager, has labeled our single resource a “Systems Programmer IV” – a level higher than that of any of his other staff.

We continue to solution a longer-term model as this client moves to streamline legacy staff support.
